This IN-PERSON class qualifies for insurance coverage under “psychotherapy”.  A receipt for psychotherapy will be provided for all participants.  Inquire with your insurance to find out if you are covered for psychotherapy.

Being a new parent is hard. For many of us, being home with a new baby may not be quite as blissful as we thought it would be.

Nurturing New Beginnings is a support group for those who are struggling with life after baby.  Led by Psychotherapist (qualifying), Connie Butera, this group will meet once per week for 6 weeks for 90 minutes.

The goal of this group is to normalize the experience, give you effective, proven strategies for coping as a new mom, and to build community.  We are not meant to do this alone – so let’s do it together.

This class is perfect for those who are looking for extra support and community after having a baby, for those with baby blues and for those with mild postpartum depression/anxiety.

Babes in arms are welcome – this group is best suited for those with little ones under one year old – while we love toddlers, having them in this group can be a bit disruptive to the group so we ask that parents not attend with babies older than one.  (We’re sorry!)

After you’ve registered, Connie will get in touch with you for a quick chat to ensure that you are well-suited for this group.  We look forward to meeting you!

When to take this class

This is a postpartum class, and suited for mothers and parents with children under one year of age.  Feel free to join whether you have a fresh newborn, or a little one that is already rolling around – so long as they’re under around one year old, know that you’ll be in the right place at the right time.  xx
