Patricia has a diverse background after spending time as a traveling occupational therapist in the USA.
In recent years, Patricia has focused on specializing in early childhood development. She has worked with infants and toddlers with developmental delays secondary to complex medical diagnoses (e.g. Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, congenital and genetic conditions) or environmental factors (e.g. substance exposures, abuse/neglect). Patricia has coached parents and caregivers on therapeutic strategies that could be incorporated into daily routines to facilitate their child’s learning and achievement of crucial milestones.
Patricia is passionate about helping young children and hopes to empower parents by giving them the skills they need to maximize the potential of their little ones.
Patricia graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She is a board-certified occupational therapist in both Canada and the United States. She is in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and several state boards in the USA.
When Patricia is not treating or coaching clients, she enjoys traveling, exploring the city, spending time with family, and playing with her dog.
