Nadine is the proud parent of four beautiful daughters. After fifteen years working in childcare, Nadine decided to make a career change and bring her passion and knowledge for birth and infant care to the Doula world in early 2016. She has had the privilege of going through her Doula journey with her own mother, and has been working with her as a unique mother-daughter team in Toronto.
As a child and young adult, Nadine traveled extensively with her family and resided in Mexico for nearly a decade. This unique upbringing afforded her the opportunity of also being able to offer Doula services to families in Spanish and bring her love for Rebozos into her birth work.
Nadine is a Certified and Registered Ontario Birth & Postpartum Doula, Dancing for Birth InstructorTM, Placenta Specialist – APPAC®, Baby-Led Sleep & Well Being Specialist, and member of Evidence Based Birth.
Nadine currently volunteers on the board of directors with the Association of Ontario Doulas, and forms part of the Birth Doula program at Markham Stouffville Hospital. She specializes in overnight postpartum support and has extensive experience caring for multiples. Nadine adores working with infants and brings her expertise in helping support parents with those early nights at home with a newborn. As a Doula, Nadine believes that better support during pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods creates stronger and healthier families. She envisions creating change in her community and building stronger families through support and education.
