Taylor is a registered occupational therapist with a passion for pediatrics and mental health.
She has worked across a wide range of settings, including schools, outpatient hospital programs, community-based care, and in-clinic practice. Taylor has also completed extensive professional development in sensory processing, feeding, handwriting, mobility, mindfulness, and neuro-affirming, trauma-informed care, so she brings a well-rounded, up-to-date approach to every session.
Taylor joined Oona after becoming a mother herself and experiencing firsthand everything Oona has to offer. She’s passionate about family-centered care that helps break down the barriers keeping families and individuals from doing the everyday things they want and need to do. Whether you or your child are working toward independence, coping skills, or simply getting back to everyday activities, Taylor will be with you every step of the way.
Here are some common reasons families come see her (this list isn’t exhaustive):
Infants: starting solids, trouble falling or staying asleep, developmentally-appropriate play (with or without medical restrictions), and learning how to co-regulate with your baby.
Children: picky eating, toileting, building self-regulation skills, executive functioning support (including attention and organization), fine motor skills for self-care, feeding, or handwriting, getting ready for back to school, and learning to participate in group activities.
Adults: adjusting to the role change of becoming a parent, building routines and coping strategies to support that transition, and learning how to tailor your lifestyle to your own executive functioning, self-regulation, and sensory needs.
Outside of work, you’ll find Taylor getting outside with her family or looking for any excuse to sing.
