Rose Le Blanc (she/her)

IBCLC Lactation Consultant

Rose is a graduate of Newman Breastfeeding Clinic Lactation Medicine Program and a CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula. She also holds an honours degree in Anthropology from the University of Toronto and a degree in Social Work from York University. Although she found her work as a doula very rewarding, she noticed there was was lacking a network of support for families who choose breastfeed. Rose has her own three beautiful children, all who came with unique breastfeed needs and complications.

After over 90 hours of Lactation specific education and 760 hours of directly supervised, hands-on experience helping families with Dr. Jack Newman and the Lactation Consultants at the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic, she completed the Lactation Medicine Programme.Taking her education and experience as a mother, she’s dedicated her career to helping families adjust to life with a newborn, reach their individual breastfeeding goals, and address any barriers/complications that arise. She also knows that every child and family is different so her approach is both gentle and with clear customized guidance.

After hours, you can find her with her partner and three active children.
