Nabila completed her Honours Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University and her Masters in Physiotherapy at Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. She joins Oona with 7 years of experience working with pediatrics and almost 5 years in the realm of pelvic health for both adults and pediatrics. She is licensed to work both in Canada and the US.
Being a new mom to twin boys, Nabila brings with her both passion and empathy when working with her patients. Her approach to treatment is focused around education and the functional needs of the patient in order to better their quality of movement and life. She has taken further courses in the areas of treating diastasis rectus abdominus, pelvic pain, and strengthening of the pelvic floor and core through functional movement to better serve her pregnant and postpartum patients. She has also continued her education in pediatric pelvic health to target those children experiencing bladder and bowel dysfunction.
When not in clinic, Nabila can be found navigating twin motherhood with her husband and family, satisfying her sweet tooth, and then following that up with a good sweat session at the gym!
