Julia is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario with a background in psychology and over twelve years of experience supporting clients across community, hospital, residential, school, private practice, and virtual settings. She has also recently been teaching courses related to psychology, social work, and mental health at the postsecondary level.
Her work is client-centred and strengths-based, integrating CBT, informed DBT, ERP, mindfulness, somatic tools, and solution-focused techniques to match clients’ needs and therapy goals. Julia also incorporates cultural identity, values, and lived experiences into the therapeutic process, recognizing how cultural frameworks shape emotional expression, family dynamics, and the meaning clients make of their challenges.
Julia cares deeply about helping people feel understood and supported. Compassion, kindness, and empathy guide her work. She is also the author of two children’s mental health storybooks.
