Chela Rafferty is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who trained at the International Breastfeeding Centre/Newman Breastfeeding Clinic and the Cambridge Pediatric Clinic. She lives in Toronto with her partner, their baby, and two cats, Maple and Syrup. She has worked in private practice and home visit care for seven years. She has experience supporting families in both home and hospital postpartum settings through her education in pre and postnatal care.
Chela also studied at Laurentian University in the Equity, Diversity, and Human Rights program and is a Masters of Public Policy candidate at Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. She is passionate about supporting families to find empowerment and confidence in infant feeding. She strongly believes that every family is unique and her goal is help parents to thrive in the transition of a growing family.
