Got questions about breastfeeding? Let’s talk about it before baby arrives.
Join us for a relaxed, informative Question & Answer session all about breastfeeding and infant feeding. Whether this is your first baby or you want a refresher, this is a safe space to ask anything, learn what to expect, and feel more confident and prepared.
We will discuss:
- How breastfeeding works and why the early days matter
- Skin-to-skin, the first feed, and what’s normal in week 1
- Positioning and attachment for comfort and good milk transfer
- How to know your baby is getting enough milk
- Expressing, partners’ role, and getting support
- Common challenges – sore nipples, engorgement, cluster feeding, and where to get help
- Your questions – nothing is too small or silly to ask
Who is it for?
Those that are expecting, and their partners, birth partners, or support person. Ideally from 28 weeks of pregnancy, but all welcome.
What to expect:
- Friendly, non-judgmental information – no pressure, just support
- Evidence-based guidance and practical tips
- Opportunity to meet other expectant parents
We look forward to supporting you on your feeding journey, however you choose to feed your baby.
