Amy has been practicing yoga for 15+ years and has been teaching prenatal and vinyasa yoga for 3 years with the goal to make yoga affordable, accessible, and fun for all – no matter what stage they are at.
Yoga came to Amy when she needed it most – trying to navigate through the sea of anxiety and depression. She fell in love with connecting movement with breath, moving with intention, and helped her stay in the moment – and out of her head.
She took her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training as a way to deepen her practice and immediately realized this was something powerful that needed to be shared. Following a module about Prenatal Yoga during her training, she immediately felt drawn to working with women and wanted to learn more about how to support them in every stage of life. Shortly after her first training, she completed her 30-hour Prenatal YTT and has been working with mamas ever since.
Her style is flowy with lots of opportunities for rest, to feel, and enjoy a laugh or two.
Amy’s favourite saying is “If you’re feeling it, you’re doing it!” and will always make sure to create and hold space for you on your yoga journey while guiding you through a super sweet Savasana after every class.
