This class is held either Online OR In-person, but not both at once! Be sure to carefully verify your format and location when you register.
What we cover in the Infant CPR & Family Safety workshop:
- Head Injuries
Do you know what to do if your child chokes or stops breathing? Or if they get heat stroke? How about if they get a deep cut, or other injury? This class covers all of that and more.
This interactive 2.5 hour workshop taught by firefighter and dad of 3, Kevin Tsang, is geared for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of infants, toddlers and small children.
This class is designed for those who don’t require full training but would love to have some life saving skills should an emergency arise. Please note: this is not a certification course.
When to take this class:
While all of the principles taught in the class can be used at any time, the reality is that with preparing for birth life with a newborn, our brains are usually pretty full by the end of our pregnancies. We’ve found that the most useful time to take this is when your little one is 3+ months old (it’s never too late though!) – we definitely recommend taking it before you start solids with your little one, and make sure your family members take it too.
What Participants Are Saying About This Class:
“A note to thank you for such a worthwhile, relevant presentation on Thursday evening.
We attended, as upcoming first-time grandparents, with our daughter and her husband. After taking copious notes, we had lots to talk about afterwards.
We feel so much better prepared, and confident, for “life” after your teachings.
You have a very reassuring, knowledgeable manner in your presentation style. Thanks for that too!”
